In 1977 travelled to Kenya and worked as an art teacher, travelled extensively throughout Kenya and developed an interest in Swahili Art.

In 1980 moved to London to work on own art and rented a studio at the Metropolitan

Wharf, in Wapping. Found employment as a play leader with Camden Council from 1982-1992. I painted many murals during this period.

Following further teacher training and social work jobs, I decided at the Millennium to work full time as an artist. To that end I began attending weekly Life Classes in an attempt to get ‘back to basics and   I had a built a studio built in the garden of my house in Northwood.

Almost all of the art, on this web site has been produced post 2000.

Since, 2006 I have been working part-time at Harrow College. In January 2007 I began work on 14 Stations of the Cross , paintings on the Passion, Which I hope to complete in time, for their display during Lent 2009 in Pinner Parish Church.
